Depending on the category of spend your employees will be guided to the correct buying channel, Punch-Out Catalogue (On/Off contract), Stocked items, 3-Bids and a Buy, Procurement Card, No PO (Invoice only). Controls around 3-Bids and a Buy can enforced routing through Procurement for high value spend.
Shopping cart items are validated against stocked item and if held then the employee is directed to consume the stocked item before use of direct purchasing.
